What is behind the hill actually? Rabbit family! They have just came home from family picnic. Do you see 2 little bunny? It is Katy with her doll and Robin holding his carrot. Papa rabbit bring a camera and mama rabbit bring a food basket. And rabbit with a flower hat is auntie Christina.  In front of her, there are uncle Arthur with his favorite scarf and uncle Brad holding an umbrella. They do not realize that they will get 3 uninvited guest. Katy and Robin will be very happy to get new friends 🙂

What the hell are we thinking about? Yes, we have go to see outside! Dragon has take the decision first. Look at him, he was running to the hill 😀

This a second series of my previous drawing, Outside the Door. If I make the 3rd, 4th, and etc., the compilation will be a children book, hahahahaha. I promise to someone that I will show him what was happen from the door. By the way, my drawing looking better and naturally. It is because I have just get my SCANNER get FIXED! I am happy about that 🙂 The scans  become bright, soft and clear and the most important is, it can catch my colored drawing scratch, perfect 😀 Wait my colored drawing with the FIXED SCANNER in my next post ya. Say goodbye to Adobe Photoshop! 😛

What is behind the hill? Maybe we can find a chocolate island there. Can we go there and get back to home before Mummy go home? This sunny weather is too perfect for our adventure!

Actually I want to draw a kind of drawing with the touch of Gorsline, a prominent illustrator in Random House. His illustration always detail, and even too detail for children book. Just like C.S. Lewis, he believe that

“A children’s story that can only be

enjoyed by children is not a good

children’s story in the slightest”

Maybe I will finish my Gorsline illustration someday, perhaps. I am running out of watercolor pencils and still stuck with sucks scanner here. This simply 3 minutes drawing, I hope it can bring back your childhood memories. Have you ever looking out of the door like that? 😉

February Review (2): THE BEST BLACK AND WHITE DRAWING IN FEBRUARY 2012

In best drawing, black and white, doodles, sketch on March 10, 2012 at 5:59 pm

The best drawing for black and white category is Alone in The Rain. This is a little bit funny. The shading technique is different, it’s messy! I am running out of ink when I drew this one. This messy drawing is finished in shorter time than usual, in which I don’t care with the detail. The duchess said that it looks just like an old book illustration. With small number of kofeart follower (compared with kofegeek), this drawing gain 21 LIKES, Fantastic! Thanks all 😉

THE BEST BLACK AND WHITE DRAWING IN FEBRUARY 2012

“ALONE IN THE RAIN”

Media: A4 HVS 100 gram and gel ballpoint

The shading technique is completely different from my older black and white drawing. You may compared it with THE BEST DRAWING IN JANUARY 2012.

February Review (1): THE BEST COLORED DRAWING IN FEBRUARY 2012

In best drawing, colored, doodles, sketch on March 10, 2012 at 5:41 pm

It is a little bit late actually, we are already in the first week of March. But tradition is always a tradition, I am not in a good condition this month. My recent drawings are not really good. First it because I am not really health at all. Though, it wasn’t too bad actually. It become so bad because my scanner is so sucks. Not only make my sketch become rough, it also not bright. When I add some contrast and bright with photoshop, the colors no longer same as the real, it isn’t soft at all and the lines looks sharp, bold and rough. Very disappointed.  Huh! Well, whatever, finally we have 2 winners this month. Both of these pictures has 12 likes from kofeart readers.

Land Without Cats: A Journey

This is fiction character about a mouse who seeks a land without cats. I do not mind to bring it too serious but the readers become so serious in a funny way. Owls, hawks, snakes…aahh, to much predators for mice 🙂  C.C.Charron, one of my favorite blogger artist, make me honored. He told me that my drawing reminds him with Mouse Guard. Whereas David Petersen drawing much more better than me..hehehehehe. You should check C.C.Charron blog to see his doodles. I have two words to describe it: unique and beautiful. I used ballpoint gel and watercolor pencils in 80 gram HVS paper to draw this mouse. Posted in 28 February, 2012.

Moty The Big Nose

Moty is drew based on real character. I drew Moty with ballpoint gel and watercolor pencils in 80 gram HVS paper. Posted in 7 February, 2012.

You Said these Were True

You Said these Were True

Written by: Subhan Zein

Your story of the divinity was spellbinding

Your reflection on the mysticism was unrivalled

The young and the old, the blacks and the whites

Are obeisance before you

Some say you could even

perform magical and divine revelations

I stood in the crowds with no doubts,

listening intently to you.

You said that the believers are sinless

And the non-believers are sinners;

That paradise is for he who lives with innocence

And that hell is for he who lives a wayward past

You said these were true

But the course of the world

And the intangibility of the invisible lives

Both have proven otherwise

Too many of the believers  committed wrongdoings

And too many of the non-believers are innocent

You’d better think twice of the truth of your claims

I have eyes to see, ears to hear, skin to touch,

And reason to prove it myself,

I don’t think God is happy with your claims.
